Principal's Message

As Principal of Lakeshore Collegiate Institute it is my privilege to welcome you to our website. This site, developed and maintained by a group of creative and dedicated students, will serve as an excellent means of communication between LCI and our school community. Take the time to explore and browse through our site and become somewhat familiar with the breadth of programming and wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities available to all our students. .

We pride ourselves at Lakeshore of being "a school of opportunities...and a school of results". Our teachers work hard, within a welcoming, supportive and positive learning environment, to enable all students to reach high levels of achievement within their chosen pathway. For over a quarter of a century we have provided our graduates with the skills and attributes that have enabled them to go on to university, college, apprenticeship programs or the world of work, and successfully pursue their dreams. Whether in the CyberARTS program, Steps to University, Dual Credit, WoodLINKS, in the rigorous academic programs, in tech programs or in the multitude of co-curricular sports and activities, all students are nurtured and challenged to achieve to their full potential.

As another school year commences the entire administration team, myself, Mr. Bratina, Ms. D'Addio, Mr. Di Felice, and the entire LCI staff, look forward to the realization of many productive and meaningful accomplishments by all our students.
