Clubs
Lakeshore has a vibrant base of clubs and activities. The Student Council organizes a massive food drive each fall, several dances each year, a semi-formal dance at the Assembly hall, Park-a-Thon park cleanups, and other entertaining events like this years Jazz Festival. The Thirty Hour Famine and Mac'n'Cheese -- playing dominos with Kraft Dinner -- are some other SAC organized activities. Leadership is another organization at Lakeshore that keeps busy throughout the year, organizing car washes and leadership camps. Drama has several productions throughout the year - Play By The Lake, featuring entirely student created material, competitions in the Sears Drama Festival, and a Mainstage production. Students can also participate in several math and science competitions (such as Waterloo.) The Yearbook Committee is always looking for dedicated students from all over -- photographers, graphic artists, page designers, just to begin.
So what about athletics? No sweat -- we have that covered too! Lakeshore has always been a very competitive school when it comes to sports. Sports like Hockey, Baseball and Basketball are just a small portion of what Lakeshore has to offer. Cross Country running, Track and Field, Badminton, Tennis and Cricket add to the mix. Lakeshore encourages and is always willing for new atheletes to join our teams.
