Principal's Message

As Principal of Lakeshore Collegiate Institute, it is my privilege to welcome you to our upgraded website. We hope you take the time to peruse the site and find out about all the wonderful things happening at Lakeshore C.I.; obtain information on the wide depth and breadth of programming, and wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that we are proud to provide to all our students. This website, developed and maintained by a group of creative and dedicated students, will serve as an excellent means of communication between LCI and our school community. We encourage you to regularly visit for updated announcements and to view some of the videos posted of various activities and events that take place at the school throughout the year.

At Lakeshore we pride ourselves for being "a school of opportunities...and a school of results". Our teachers work hard, within a welcoming, supportive and positive learning environment, to enable all students to reach high levels of achievement within their chosen pathway. For well over a quarter of a century, we have provided our graduates with the skills and attributes that have enabled them to go on to university, college, apprenticeship programs or the world of work, and successfully pursue their dreams. Whether in our unique programs such as Steps to University, CyberARTS, Business SHSM, WoodLINKS, I-Think, or all the academic and technical programs as well as in the multitude of co-curricular sports and activities, all students are nurtured and challenged to achieve to their full potential.

As the 2012-2013 school year commences the entire administration team, myself, Ms. Scobie, Ms. Arnott, Mr. Di Felice, and the entire LCI staff, look forward to the realization of many productive and meaningful accomplishments by all our students.
